Athena
LTC Athena is a narrow art deco design from the ’50s with a curious avoidance of straight lines in the stems and main strokes. It brings a somewhat “lost” hot-metal typeface back from obscurity into digital format. It is a rare face whose original matrices were destroyed and thought wholly lost. The face has been expanded by Miranda Roth and includes ligatures and a full Pan-European character set for modern typography on book covers, magazines, packaging, brochures, and identities everywhere.
