At its core, Magdelin Alt is a minimal Gothic sans having simple forms and low contrast. Yet, it takes some cues from the Humanist class with its calligraphic details in angled terminals and italics. The small x-height, long ascenders and descenders, and semi-condensed proportions give it a classic vintage feel while still stylishly modern in current typographic landscapes. The clean design makes it a valuable, versatile workhorse for branding, packaging, editorial, books, websites, and more.

A
